The Rutgers Journal of Law & Urban Policy will be hosting Alexander Polikoff at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11 in Room 106 of the law school. Mr. Polikoff is the author of "Waiting for Gautreaux" and lead attorney in Gautreaux v. Chicago Housing Authority and HUD, the case that established precedents for suing local authorities over their discriminatory housing policies. This case set the stage for policies aimed at ending the concentration -- and racialization -- of poverty through public housing.

The Rutgers Journal of Law & Urban Policy will be hosting Congressman Artur Davis (Alabama) to the law school on Monday, April 3. Congressman Davis is a rising star in national politics and a tremendous orator. He will be speaking at the law school from 12:30-1:30 followed by a meet/greet reception in the Octogon Room.
